Knox Company ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Knox App ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App and the KnoxConnect service. This Privacy Policy is specifically for the Knox App developed by Knox Company. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Process and Collect

We do not track users or collect personal data in any way that identifies individuals. We do not collect, store, or process any personal or sensitive user data beyond what is strictly necessary for the App to function.

To provide a transparent breakdown for the Google Play Data Safety standard, data interaction is limited to the following:

• Transient Data Processing: Any data transferred between the Knox App and our KnoxConnect SaaS server is fully encrypted and used solely for providing the App's functionality. This data is processed ephemerally in server memory to execute core features and is not permanently harvested or stored.
• Technical Identifiers: The App may utilize transient, non-persistent device tokens or encrypted configuration payloads strictly to maintain secure session states or deliver essential operational notifications. These tokens cannot be used by us to identify a specific individual.
• Optional Diagnostics: The App does not collect any diagnostic, telemetry, or crash reporting data.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information transferred to KnoxConnect is used exclusively to enable the core features of the Knox App. No data is used for tracking, advertising, analytics, marketing, or any other commercial purpose.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not share any user data with third parties for any purpose. All data handling and transient processing occurs entirely within our secure, isolated infrastructure.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect any data transferred, including mandatory end-to-end encryption between the App and KnoxConnect.

Data Retention

Because we practice strict data minimization, we do not maintain long-term databases of user activity.

• Transient session data is erased immediately after the server execution is complete.
• Standard server-side security and operational logs are automatically purged on a rolling 90-day lifecycle.

6. User Rights & Data Deletion

Users may contact us to inquire about or request deletion of any data associated with their use of the App. Since minimal data is collected, requests will be handled promptly.

Google Play Account Deletion Compliance

The App uses credentials created in KnoxConnect and does not use Google Play account information. You can request full account and associated data deletion from KnoxConnect directly through the App's User Profile menu. Upon request, your account and any associated operational data will be permanently purged from our infrastructure.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or process data from children under this age.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the revised policy directly within the App and updating the text on our official website.
